Passionate about taking down barriers to entry in technology, Alexandria builds open source environments for making music with wearable electronics and working teaching audio engineering to folks in underrepresented communities. In order to address inequities in audio engineering and improve diversity in the field of audio engineering nationally and internationally, Alexandria is currently teaching Pro Tools Certifications 101/110 to folks from underrepresented communities through the Immersive and Inclusive Audio program run by audio engineer and President-elect of the Audio Engineering Society (AES) Leslie Gaston-Bird. In New Orleans, she collaborated with the Safe & Sound Collective to provide free audio engineering classes for women, queer identifying, and non-binary folks. In Baja California, Mexico, she taught audio engineering at Universidad Autónoma de Baja California; Festival de Música Nueva.
